Celebrating Aria Pierce: Our client highlight of the Month for May

1) Tell us a bit about yourself. What’s one thing most people know about you? What’s something people don’t know about you?Â
Most people know that I'm a proud Bostonian by birth, that I'm a grant writer for an LGBTQ+ organization, and that I love cats. People probably wouldn't know that I'm also a seltzer water aficionado.Â
2) What made you decide to make a change? Was there a turning point or a sudden realization?Â
I reached a point where I no longer recognized myself - both in appearance and how I felt physically. Despite managing knee problems for some time, the pain had intensified considerably. Medical professionals identified early signs of arthritis and suggested weight loss as a likely solution to reduce discomfort. Everyday activities, like climbing steep hills, had become challenging after gaining significant weight during the pandemic.
3) What has been the most challenging part of your fitness journey?
 Staying Motivated! Despite not being a natural fitness enthusiast (except when it comes to deadlifts!), I consistently show up and put in the effort because the benefits have been transformative. Jade can likely confirm that I'm significantly more open to trying new exercises now than when I first began this journey!
4) What was your goal when you started and how much have you accomplished since then?
My initial goals were straightforward: improve my stamina, alleviate knee pain, and lose approximately 50 pounds. Not only have I accomplished all three objectives, but I've surpassed my weight loss target.
5) What advice/tips can you give to others on their weight loss journey?
Drink way more water than you think you need!
