Ingredients
1/2 cup ginger root cut into small pieces (peel on)
3 lemons juiced
1 orange peeled
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp honey
1/8 tsp ground cayenne
1/2 cup water optional
Instructions
Wash the ginger thoroughly. Leave the peel on and slice it into thin pieces.
Add all of the ingredients except for the water into a food processor and blend on high until the mixture is pureed and smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add the water and puree again.
Line a colander with a cheesecloth and position it over a bowl. Pour the ginger puree into the cheesecloth and drain out the liquid.
Pour the strained liquid into 4 different shot glasses. Reserve or enjoy immediately!
Notes
If you prefer, swap the water for coconut water.
